Dried Morels(Morchella Conica) G0968
Products Applications
There are several ways to soak dried morels:
Ordinary soaking: first, rinse the dried morel mushrooms two or three times quickly with tap water and cut off the old roots. Next, put the rinsed morels into warm water at about 45 degrees, with the amount of water just enough to submerge the morels. Finally, cover the container and soak for about 20 to 30 minutes until the warm water turns burgundy and the morels are completely softened.
Heat soak: Place the dried morels in a container, pour in cool water, cover and microwave on high for 3 minutes. This method is suitable for dried morels without mud feet.
Quick soaking: Put the dried morels in a sealed box, pour 40 degrees of warm water and add appropriate amount of sugar and starch. Then cover the sealed box tightly and shake it vigorously for about 2 minutes before the morel mushrooms become soft. After that, just wash it with water.
It should be noted that during the soaking process, you can use your hand to gently rotate and stir in the container in the same direction, so that the sediment in the fungus folds will fall out and settle to the bottom with the direction of the water flow. Repeat this process 2 to 3 times to thoroughly clean the morels.
