Stuffed shrimp with morels is a common and popular favorite Chinese dish, which is made to taste very fresh and tasty, with the fresh flavor of morels as well as the unique taste of shrimp, here is an easy recipe for stuffed shrimp with morels:
Ingredients:
Fresh shrimp: 300g
Morels: 100g
Ginger: moderate amount
Green onion: moderate amount
Salt: moderate
Wine: moderate amount
Soy sauce: right amount
Starch: right amount
Egg: 1
Vegetable oil: moderate
Steps:
Shell and devein fresh shrimp, rinse and set aside. Wash the morel mushrooms and cut into small dices and set aside.
Cut the shrimp into two halves, pat loose with a knife, add a little salt, cooking wine, soy sauce, cornstarch, marinate for 15 minutes.
Put the marinated shrimp into the concave part of the morel mushrooms and press flat with your hands.
Heat a moderate amount of vegetable oil in a wok, place the stuffed morels side down and fry over low heat until golden brown, then fry the other side.
When the shrimp is cooked through, sprinkle in chopped green onion and ginger, drizzle in a little cooking wine, cover and simmer for a few minutes.
